Eastern Illinois men's soccer moved its current unbeaten streak to five straight matches as the Panthers played to a 1-1 draw on Thursday at OVC leader Lindenwood.

The one point secured from the tie locked up a spot in this year's Ohio Valley Conference Tournament field for the Panthers as they moved to 4-7-4 overall, 3-3-3 in the OVC.   Lindenwood locked up at least the No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the OVC Tournament field with the tie as the Lions are 13-1-3 overall, 6-1-2 in the OVC.  The final matches of the regular season take place on Sunday afternoon.

Both teams finished with 14 total shots in the match with EIU registering six shots on goal compared to three on net for Lindenwood.

Gui Gragnano, last week's OVC Offensive Player of the Week, scored his third consecutive goal for the Panthers scoring in the 39th minute unassisted to knot the match at 1-1.

Luca Bartoni gave Lindenwood the lead nine minutes earlier with his tally in the 30th minute.

Gragnano had two of the six shots on goal and a total of three shots tying for the team lead with
Kento Tani.
Lucas Ortiz finished with two saves in net.
