2026 EIU Baseball Schedule

Defending Ohio Valley Conference regular season baseball champion Eastern Illinois has released its 2026 schedule which will begin and end on the road this season.
 
The Panthers open the first four weeks of the season away from Charleston with weekend series at Florida A&M, Arkansas State, Northern Kentucky and Bellarmine.   EIU also has a midweek game at Illinois on March 3.
 
The scheduled home opener will be on Wednesday, March 11 against Illinois Wesleyan, one of four non-conference midweek home games on the schedule.  EIU will also host Northern Illinois (March 24), Saint Xavier (April 15) and Butler (April 21).
 
The OVC season begins on the road for EIU on March 20 at Lindenwood.   EIU's opening OVC home series will be on March 27 against Morehead State.  The Panthers will also host Southern Indiana, Southeast Missouri and SIUE at home for conference play.
 
The regular season ends with an OVC series at Western Illinois.
 
The 2026 OVC Tournament returns once again this year to Marion, Illinois on May 19-23.
