IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Eastern Illinois men's and women's swim teams completed their first day of competition at the Summit League Championships on Wednesday, with the men setting a new school record in the 200 medley relay.
Andrew Herman,
Nolan Wallace,
Sebastian Rosales, and
Dismas Dillon were the record-setting combination, recording a time of 1:30.24.
Meanwhile, in the women's 200 medley relay final,
Izzy Glasgow,
Corinne Staneart,
Kaylan Ottosen, and
Autumn Grinter clocked a time of 1:45.05, which is the second fastest mark in EIU history.
The men also set an EIU second-best on the day, with
Conner Colston,
Zach Clark,
Eddie Myers, and
Spencer Wilson posting a time of 6:44.29 in the 800 free relay.
