Eastern Illinois swimmer Nolan Wallace has been named the Summit League Men's Swimming & Diving Scholar of the Championships presented by JLG Architects. He is the first EIU athlete to earn the award since its inception in 2022.

The Scholar of the Championship award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average participating at each of the Summit League's 19 championships.

In the pool, Wallace has posted team best times in the 50 breast (26.37) and 100 breast (58.19) this season.

The 2025 Summit League Championships are just getting underway in Iowa City and will run through Saturday.
