The Eastern Illinois men's and women's swimming teams have been named College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Teams as announced by the CSCAA on Monday.

It is the second consecutive season that both EIU teams have earned the prestigious recognition, and the third consecutive season for the men's team.

781 teams from 459 institutions were selected for the Fall 2024 semester. These teams, comprising 19,209 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements, as they were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0.  

The EIU women finished the fall semester with an overall GPA of 3.66, while the men recorded a GPA of 3.41.

The Panthers concluded the regular season this past weekend and are currently preparing for the Summit League Championships in Iowa City. The event is set to get underway on Wednesday, February 19th at Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
