Eastern Illinois went 10-of-16 from the floor in the opening ten minutes as the Panthers rolled out to a 27-10 first quarter lead. The Panthers continued their solid play as they picked up an 85-52 win over Southeast Missouri on Senior Day at Groniger Arena.
EIU wraps up the regular season at 18-11 overall, 15-5 in the OVC. SEMO finished the regular season at 6-23 overall, 4-16 in the OVC.
Macy McGlone started a big afternoon with a double-double in the first half with 16 points, 11 rebound as EIU led 46-24 at the break. McGlone finished the game with 27 points and 19 rebounds.
EIU's two other double figures scorers came off the bench with
Sydney-James Desroches scoring 13 and
Tiny Lewis adding ten. EIU shot 45.2 percent for the game with senior
Kiyley Flowers passing out nine assists.

Jayda Johnston (8 pts),
Alex Rouse (6 pts) and
Ellie Colson all were honored prior to the game with McGlone and Flowers.
SEMO had three double figure scorers in the game with Zoe Best leading the Redhawks with 15 points. She knocked down three of SEMO's six 3-pointers in the game.
Ainaya Williams scored 11 points and Lexi McCully added ten for SEMO.
