Eastern Illinois closed out the FIU Softball Classic on a high note on Sunday morning picking up a 10-2 win over Bradley.

The Panthers jumped on the board in the first inning and never looked back scoring four in the first, one in the second, three in the fifth and then closed out the game with two in the sixth.

Morgan Hance drove home the final run in the sixth with a single to right scoring Kendall Grover.  Hance and Grover both went 2-for-4 at the plate in the game.

EIU opened the game with four runs in the first.  Abbey Crain led off with a walk and following a fly out to center, three straight Panthers reached with singles.  Briana Gonzalez had the first big hit of the frame with a two-run single to center.  Abbi Hatton delivered the next two runs with a two-out single up the middle.

Hatton came back to drive in two more in the Panthers three-run fifth inning with a single to right field.  She joined Hance and Grover as EIU players with two hits in the game.

McKenzie Oslanzi (5-6) picked up the win in the circle scattering four hits to post her third complete game of the weekend. 

Bradley scored its two runs in the top of the fourth on a two-run homer by Kierston McCoy.  Hannah Organ (2-5) suffered the loss for the Braves.

EIU is now 8-12 overall while Bradley falls to 7-12.
