Eastern Illinois women's tennis had its two match win streak snapped on Wednesday as the Panthers suffered a 5-2 loss at Southern Indiana in OVC action.

USI jumped out to a 1-0 lead winning the doubles point with a win at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.  The Panthers No. 2 doubles team of Luisa Renovales Salazar and Michelle Kostadinova picked up a 6-0 win.

The Panthers picked up both of their points in the match in singles play with wins at No.3 and No. 5 singles.

Charleigh Fay won in two sets at No. 3 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Madison Windham.

Luisa Renovales Salazar won at No. 5 singles beating Elle Dewees 6-3, 6-2.

The Screaming Eagles won the overall match with singles wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles.
