Eastern Illinois men's tennis wrapped up the 2025 season on Saturday with a 4-0 Horizon League loss to Tennessee Tech as the Panthers honored the three senior members of their program.
 
Honored prior to the match were 
Pieke Bouman, 
Tyler Carlin and 
Zach White.
 
Carlin and White played at No. 1 doubles in the match and were tied 5-5 in the contest when Tennessee Tech won the overall doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
 
The overall match was played to clinch with TTU winning contests at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
 
Pieke Bouman was in his second set at No. 1 singles against Alex Alvarez when the match was left unfinished.  Alvarez led 6-4, 5-4.
 
Alex Aldaz played at No. 2 singles for EIU and was leading his match against Murilo Burckhardt when the contest was left unfinished.  Aldaz led 6-4, 5-3.
 
Gui Cauvilla had the final match unfinished for EIU at No. 6 singles.  He was entering his third set against Elia Lauper after Cauvilla won the opening set 6-2 before losing the second set 6-2.
 
EIU wrapped up the season with a 6-23 record, 0-4 in the Horizon League.
