Tournament Results

 Ian Hollander posted the second straight Top Ten finish for an Eastern Illinois men's golfer as the Panthers placed fifth as a team at the Tennessee State Big Blue Intercollegiate.
 
Hollander finished sixth in the field shooting rounds of 72, 69 and 73 on the Par 71 Hermitage Golf Course layout posting a 54-hole total of 214.
 
Hollander posted one of four under-par rounds shot by the Panthers team at the two-day event as the team returns to action on April 20 at the OVC Championships in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
 
As a team EIU finished fifth with a 54-hole total of 866 which ranks as the fourth best 54-hole score in program history.  EIU shot rounds of 287, 291 and 288 in the event which was won by Arkansas Pine Bluff.
 
Jackson Twerdahl of UT Martin was the individual medalist as one of three players that posted an under-par total for the 54-hole event.
 
Joining Hollander with under-par rounds for the tournament were Trey Oswald with a final round of one-under par 70 and Alex Siatos who opened and closed with under par rounds. 
 
Siatos, who placed fifth last week at the WIU Intercollegiate opened with a round of 70.  He struggled on the second 18 holes carding an 81 before closing with a round of 69 which moved him into a tie for 28th with a score of 220.
 
Oswald finished tied for 25th in the event with a total of 219.
 
Cole Jaworski was just behind both players opening with back-to-back rounds of 73 before closing with a 76 to card a score of 222 to tie for 35th.
 
Parker Boehne was the final EIU scored golfer with a total of 226 to tie for 38th.  He opened with back-to-back rounds of 75.
