Tournament Results

Eastern Illinois men's golf closed out its fourth tournament of the fall season on Tuesday playing at the Belmont Kemper Lakes Intercollegiate in Kildeer, Illinois.
 
The Panthers placed 12th as a team in the field with Brendan O'Brien the top Panthers finisher in the event in a tie for 16th.
 
O'Brien carded a 54-hole total of 228 which included a second round even par score of 72 at the Kemper Lakes Golf Club.
 
Drake won the team title with the Bulldogs Jake Weissenburger the individual medalist which included a seven-under par round of 65 to open the two-day event.
 
Alex Siatos was the Panthers second finisher in the field in a tie for 21st, his second straight Top 25 tournament finish.  Siatos shot a 54-hole score of 230 closing with a two-over par 74 on Tuesday.
 
Jordan McCaslin, Tanner Thompson and Luke Watson rounded out EIU's five scored golfers in the event as all three posted their best rounds on Tuesday with closing scores of 82.   Freshman Hudson Meister played as an individual for EIU finishing 78th.
 
McCaslin was tied for 72nd with a 54-hole total of 252.  Thompson was tied for 74th with a 54-hole score of 254 with Watson carding a 54-hole total of 257 to finish 77th. 
 
Meister shot 286 for the tournament with his best round of 91 coming on the final 18 holes.
