Eastern Illinois men's tennis wrapped up non-conference play on Tuesday playing two matches to clinch at ITA ranked No. 36 Kentucky in Lexington.
 
Kentucky won both matches 4-0 over the Panthers as EIU will wrap up the 2025 season on Saturday hosting Tennessee Tech for senior day.  The match will be played at Charleston High School due to damage to EIU's Rex Darling Courts during last week's storm.
 
In the opening match Kentucky won the doubles point and then picked up wins at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4 singles. 
 
Zach White played at the No. 1 singles spot falling in three sets to No. 50 ranked Jack Loutit – 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.
 
Alex Aldaz was in the third set of his match at No. 2 singles against Charlelie Cosnet when the Wildcats clinched the match.  Cosnet was leading 4-6, 6-3, 3-0 in the third.
 
Gui Cauvilla playing at No. 5 singles and Fabien Planchard playing at No. 6 singles had their matches left unfinished the opening contest.
 
In the afternoon, Kentucky won four points in singles action with the schools deciding not to play doubles after the UK clinch.
 
The Wildcats won at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4 and No. 5 singles in the match.  Cauvilla playing at No. 6 singles had his match left unfinished as did Ludolph Wiggett playing at No. 3 singles.
 
UK played ITA ranked players at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches in the second contest facing White and Aldaz.
 
No. 58 ranked Antonie Ghibaudo beat White at No. 1 singles in two sets winning 6-1, 6-2.
 
No. 93 ranked Jaden Weekes beat Aldaz at No. 2 singles in two sets winning 6-2, 6-2.
