NCAA West Regional Triple Jump Results

For the second straight year Eastern Illinois will send a men's track & field athlete to the NCAA Outdoor National Championships as freshman Abraham Johnson qualified in the triple jump on Friday at the NCAA West Regional.
 
Johnson posted a mark of 52'10" on his final of three jumps to finish seventh in the NCAA West Regional field and punch his ticket to Eugene, Oregon with the NCAA Triple Jump set for Friday, June 13.
 
Johnson cleared 52' on all three of his attempts passing his previous season best of 51'9.75" which he set winning the Ohio Valley Conference triple jump crown.  His mark on Friday landed him in third on the EIU all-time list.
 
Teammate Daniel Lacy wrapped up his season on Wednesday running in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA West Regional.
