Eastern Illinois women's basketball completed a successful season on both the court and in the classroom last academic year as they were listed as a Special Mention selection by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) as they organization released its WBCA Team Academic Honor Roll.

EIU posted a 3.53 Team GPA for the season ranking in the Top 50 in the NCAA for the academic year (46th overall).

The WBCA lists a Top 25 in terms of academic performance led this past year by Green Bay with a 3.862 team GPA.

Teams with a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year and not ranked in the Top 25 were listed among the special mention teams for 2024-25. A total of 55 teams posted a 3.5 or higher team GPA for the year.Â
