Eastern Illinois football will report to campus this weekend as the Panthers begin preparation for 2025 season starting with the home opener on August 28 against Dayton at O'Brien Field.

Last week the OVC-Big South held its virtual football media day with fourth-year head coach Chris Wilkerson talking to reporters about the upcoming season.

EIU has brought in a number of transfers to the program (31) along with 15 true freshmen that will help compose the Panthers roster.   The group will be led by 21 players that are led as either seniors or graduate students.
