Set to join EIU next fall are middle infielder Chloe Wamboldt along with pitchers Rylan Gick and Grace Lemke.

Wamboldt (Kenosha, Wis.) is a transfer from Rock Valley College where she helped lead the team to back-to-back appearances in the NJCAA Division II World Series during two seasons playing middle infield.Ā This past season she hit .471 for the team as they posted 46 wins.Ā Wamboldt was third in the NJCAA in stolen bases with 71 steals.Ā She added 12 doubles and 30 RBI while only striking out 16 times in 183 plate appearances.Ā As a freshman in 2024 she ranked 21st in the NJCAA ranks with 34 stolen bases hitting .396 with 12 RBI for a team that reached the fourth day of the World Series through the third round.Ā She was twice named an All-Region performer collecting second team JUCO All-American honors as a sophomore.Ā Wamboldt was a multi-sport athlete at Kenosha Tremper High School earning varsity letters in volleyball, track and softball.Ā She was multiple time All-Conference selection earning second team All-Region honors.Ā She played travel softball for Puma Baseball Academy (PBA) Softball.Ā

Gick (West Lafayette, Ind.) is a transfer from Purdue Northwest where she played her freshman season this past spring.Ā Gick posted a 6-8 record in the circle with a 4.49 ERA.Ā She sat down 85 batters on strikeouts in 85.2 innings of work including setting the school single game record with 15 strikeouts against Roosevelt.Ā She was named the 64analytics D2 Pitcher of the Week one time during the season.Ā Gick played at William Henry Harrison High School earning first team All-North Central Conference honors her junior and senior years.Ā She was part of the team's Indiana Class 4A state runner-up team as a sophomore with the team winning the regional championship during her junior season.Ā Gick played travel softball for Orland Park Sparks Gold 18U Treccani

Lemke (Altamont, Ill.) is a high school pitcher that just finished her career playing softball and volleyball at Altamont High School.Ā She was a two-time Class 1A All-State selection in the circle earning first team honors as a senior.Ā She recorded her 1,000th career strikeout in April of this year as she finished her senior campaign with a 18-9 record, 0.57 ERA and 416 strikeouts.Ā She was twice named the National Trails Conference MVP.Ā She plays travel softball for Premier FP Sturdy/Cloe 18U.
