Eastern Illinois women's soccer swept this week's Ohio Valley Conference awards as
Amara Leppla,
Colleen Bauer and
Ella Kratochvil all picked up weekly honors following EIU's 3-0 Sunday win over Lindenwood.
Â
Leppla was named the OVC Offensive Player of the Week as she factored into all three goals in the Panthers Sunday win. Leppla assisted on the first goal of the match, a match winner by
Abby Reinl.  The freshman then found the net two times later in the match scoring for the fourth consecutive match. She leads the Panthers in both goals (5) and points (12) this season.
Â
Bauer was named the OVC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. Bauer logged all 90 minutes on the pitch helping EIU post its sixth team shutout of the season.  She was one of two EIU field players to play all 90 minutes in the win.
Â
Kratochvil won her fourth OVC Goalkeeper of the Week award after posting her sixth clean sheet of the season. With the shutout the senior became the Panthers career leader in shutouts posting her 20th during four seasons in net.  She turned away five shots on goal in the win.
Â
EIU plays twice this week in the OVC schedule hosting Southeast Missouri on Thursday before a Sunday trip to Morehead State.
