Day One Results 

Eastern Illinois women's golf opened Ohio Valley Conference Championship play on Sunday morning with 18 holes at Dalton Golf and Country Club in Dalton, Ga.   After day one, EIU sits in eighth place just one stroke behind Tennessee State for seventh place.
 
Addison Kenney and Meera Upadhyay are the Panthers co-leaders after the opening round with both players shooting a round of 86 to stand tied for 24th.
 
Sophia Miller is one stroke behind at 87 and tied for 28th.  EIU's fourth scored golfer from the opening round was Mya Mirocha in a tie for 39th with a round of 92.
 
Olivia Quigley was the final EIU golfer in Sunday's tournament action sitting in 43rd place with a round of 98.
 
EIU shot a team score of 351.  Little Rock is the team leader with a pair of Trojans golfers currently tied for the individual lead with rounds of 76.
 
Play continues Monday and Tuesday for the OVC Championship.
