Eastern Illinois senior infielder has been named a NFCA Third Team All-Region selection at third base released by the national organization on Thursday (May 14).

Stiverson was named the OVC Player of the Year after a stellar season at the plate in which she hit .386 with ten doubles, one triple and four home runs with 40 runs scored and 28 RBI during the regular season.  The transfer third baseman from Illinois increased that production in OVC only play hitting .470 with five doubles, four home runs, 19 RBI and 30 runs scored.  She becomes EIU's fourth winner of the OVC Player of the Year joining Megan Burton (2021) and Kendall Grover (2024 & 2025).  In addition to her OVC Player of the Year and first team honors, Stiverson was named to the All-OVC Newcomer team.

Stiverson helped lead the Panthers to their second straight Ohio Valley Conference Championship as the team opens play in the NCAA Tournament on Friday in Stillwater, Oklahoma.   

EIU has now had at least one player earn All-Region honors for six straight seasons.
