Eastern Illinois freshman Ashlyn Denney wrapped up her 2026 season on Thursday afternoon competing at the USATF U20 National Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Denney, from Tolono, Illinois, competed in the 800 meter run placing 10th in the event with a championships time of 2:12.88.

Denney was the OVC 800 meter champion at the 2026 Indoor Championships while finishing second in the event at the 2026 OVC Outdoor Championships.
