Eastern Illinois women's soccer posted a 1-0-1 record for the week at home and two Panthers picked up Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week honors based on those results.
 
Ella Kratochvil won her second OVC Goalkeeper of the Week Award while Colleen Bauer was named the OVC Defender of the Week.
 
Kratochvil turned in another pair of clean sheets for the week in matches against Indiana State (T, 0-0) and Purdue Fort Wayne (W, 3-0).  She now has four shutouts this season and increased her career shutout total to 18, just 1.5 shutouts behind the school record.  She made five total saves for the week with four against Indiana State and one against Purdue Fort Wayne.
 
Bauer was solid on the Panthers back line as the lone field player that logged all 180 minutes for the week on the pitch.  She helped the Panthers post their third and fourth shutouts of the season with a total of just five shots on goal for the week.  In Sunday's 3-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne, EIU's defense allowed just one shot on goal in the match and a total of seven overall Mastodons shots.
 
EIU returns to action this weekend playing on Sunday at Ball State.
