Tournament Results

Eastern Illinois men's golf played its second tournament of the fall schedule in less than a week with the Panthers finishing ninth at the UT Martin Grover Page Classic.
 
The 54-hole event was played at the Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tenn., with the host Skyhawks winning the team title and a four-way tie for individual medalist honors.
 
Brendan O'Brien was EIU's top finisher closing with a two-under round of 70 and shooting 221 for the tournament.  O'Brien was tied for 26th in the field.
 
EIU played with only four scored golfers as Reis Claybrooke was a scratch from the line-up just prior to the start of competition.
 
Alex Siatos, Tanner Thompson and Jordan McCaslin played as the other three scored golfers with O'Brien.
 
Siatos was tied for 34th with a 54-hole score of 224 and a low round of 73 on Monday morning.
 
Thompson was 57th with a score of 236 and a low round of 77 on Monday afternoon.
 
McCaslin shot his low round of 77 on Monday afternoon and finished 62nd with a score of 243.
 
Hudson Meister played as an individual for the Panthers finishing 65th with a 54-hole score of 256 and a closing round of 81.
