#Amber May# of softball and #Jake Samuels# of baseball were named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

May posted four wins on the week including wins in each of the Panthers weekend games at Eastern Kentucky. She worked 24 1/3 innings with an ERA of 0.57 striking out 31 batters.

Samuels helped the Panthers offense break out going 7-for-12 on the week with nine RBI. At Morehead State he scored seven runs with a pair of home runs and doubles.
