Eastern Illinois was selected to finish second in this year's Ohio Valley Conference preseason poll receiving four first place votes. The selections were announced on Monday, July 26 as part of the OVC Football Media Day at LP Field in Nashville.
In attendance at the 2010 OVC Football media days were EIU head coach Bob Spoo along with senior CJ James and junior Willie Henderson. Both players were selected to the preseason All-OVC squad.
