CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Eastern Illinois women's rugby will finish up the 2012 season with an additional road contest at Georgia Tech on Sunday (Nov. 11), with kickoff set for 11 a.m. in Atlanta.

At 5-2 on the year, the Panthers will look to finish up the campaign with a sixth straight victory.

ALL-TIME EIU/GT SERIES
This will mark the first ever meeting between the Panthers and Yellowjackets.

RUGBY 10-VERSUS-10
Like the previous contests this season, the format for Sunday's game at Tech will be ten-on-ten, but utilizing the normal Rugby 15s rules, just pared down team-wise.

The game set-up has been pre-determined by both the respective head coaches, as the Panther squad is down to just 10 players following some injuries and other player issues at this point in the season.

QUOTING COACH GRAZIANO
"We are looking forward to going down there, with warm weather again in the forecast.  This season-finale marks the longest trip of the season with a nine-hour trip in the works so we'll so how that goes.

"Lauren Doyle is planning on playing again, as she also played well last week following her trip to China in competition with the USA Rugby 7s squad.

"We need to continue to improve on our tackling, as we missed several key stops at MTSU which is how they were able to score against us.

"Good to report that everyone is healthy.  We are planning on doing a bit of sight seeing while down in Atlanta during our practice session on Saturday, particularly around the downtown area.

"We are mainly going to focus on ourselves right now.  Our offense is doing much better, but just need to focus more on our defensive game plan."

SUNDAY'S WEATHER PROJECTION
According to weather.com, the weather in Atlanta is expected to be mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s and just 20% chance of precipitation.  Wind may reach gusts of 12 mph.
