Eastern Illinois football will have a little different look on the field this season as the Panthers will wear NIKE gear for the 2013 football season. With the new home and road uniforms the Panthers will have six possible uniform combinations to chose from (3 home, 3 road).
Last season the Panthers switched to black helmets with a blue panther head logo.
EIU opens the season on August 31 at San Diego State wearing one of the White Road uniforms in the opener.
The Panthers will host Illinois State in the EIU home opener at O'Brien Field in the Mid-America Classic.
