Cheer Team Tryout Information

CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Panther cheer team is holding tryouts on Oct. 22 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the North Gym of McAfee Gym.
 
An informational meeting on tryouts will be held on Oct. 15 at 5 p.m. in room 3401 of Lantz Arena.
 
Before trying out for the cheer team, the following documents must be received by the EIU athletic training staff on the day of the tryout: Proof a physical exam within the last 12 months, proof of a sickle-cell trait screening results and proof of medial insurance (not EIU student insurance).
 
Only current EIU students will be allowed to tryout for the team. Students will be required to show documentation of enrollment for the 2013-14 academic school year.
