NCAA West Regional Results

AUSTIN, Texas – Eastern Illinois men's track wrapped up the 2015 season on Saturday with two individuals and two relay teams competing at the NCAA West Regional at the University of Texas.

Calvin Edwards competed in the quarterfinal round of the men's 200m dash placing 22nd with a time of 21.38.

Senior David Johansson completed his EIU career in the afternoon finishing 32nd in the javelin with his best throw measuring 202'11".

EIU's 4x100m relay team finished 16th posting a time of 40.41.  The 4x100 relay team included Johnathan Boey, Edwards, Jamal Robinson and Christian Ilunga-Matthiesen.

The 4x400m relay team finished 24th with a time of 3:13.52.   The 4x400 relay team included Edwards, Ephraim Dorsey, Derek Williamson and Norvel Mohammed.
This marks the first time since 2008 that EIU has not advanced at least one athlete to the NCAA National Championships.
