CHARLESTON, Ill. - Eastern Illinois men's soccer defeated the visiting Golden Eagles from Oral Roberts Saturday afternoon. The Panthers scored in 104th minute to win their senior day match 1-0.

EIU improves to 3-6-5 overall and 1-2-1 in the Summit League heading into their final four games. Oral Roberts fell to 4-6-1 overall and 1-1 in the Summit League.

Fabio Collado found the back of the net for the Panthers in double overtime. Yann Nsoga tallied an assist on the play setting Collado up for the play inside the box. 

Oral Roberts took seven shots total with four on goal. Santiago Riveros had two shots on goal for the Golden Eagles. EIU fired off 15 shots total with six on goal. Collado led the Panthers with three shots on goal. Federico Verlichi, Brendan McDonough, and Edgar Mesa each had one for EIU.

Goalkeeper Mike Novotny recorded four saves in the net bringing his season total up to 75 saves. Thibaut Giquel stopped the ball five times for ORU.

The Panthers will return home Tuesday Oct. 17 for a 1 p.m. non-conference match against Belmont.
