The Panthers continue their road trip at Austin Peay after falling in their conference opener to Murray State 72-61. EIU is now 1-11 on the season and 0-1 in the OVC heading into Saturday's match-up. Austin Peay started out their season going 7-4 in non-conference play. They collected their fifth loss on the season as they fell to SIUE in their conference opener 61-38.
SCOUTING AUSTIN PEAY
Austin Peay went 7-4 during the first half of the season, but fell 61-38 in their conference opener vs. SIUE and is on a four game losing streak. Falon Baker was Austin Peay's leading scorer vs. SIUE as she posted nine points in the game. Keisha Gregory is the teams overall leading scorer as she averages 11.1 points per game but did not play vs. SIUE. Gregory also grabs a team high 5.5 rebounds per game. Baker is nearing double-figures every game with 9.9 ppg. Bri Williams has 48 assists on the season for the Governors as she dishes our four dimes per game. In addition to SIUE, Austin Peay suffered losses to Butler, Western Illinois, Illinois, and Ball State earlier this season.

CRASHING THE BOARDS
EIU held a 41-38 rebounding advantage over the Racers of Murray State in Thursday's game. Nehls grabbed a team-leading nine rebounds, five of which were offensive. Berry tied her career-high of eight boards. Tellez also tied her career-high as she grabbed five boards in the match-up.
Jalisha Smith also secured four boards for the Panthers.
