GAME 20
The Panthers hit the road following a four game home stand. they secured their second win of the season in overtime vs. Tennessee State, but fell to Belmont, UT Martin, and Southeast Missouri. The Panthers will play Belmont for the final time this season on Thursday Jan. 25 at 5 pm. The Bruins extended their win streak to nine straight games and remain undefeated in OVC play. 

SCOUTING BELMONT
Belmont extended their winning streak to nine straight games as the Panthers prepare to meet them for the second time this season. Austin Peay took them down to the wire as the Bruins escaped with a 78-75 win in regulation. Murray State also tested Belmont last week and led for most of the game. The Bruins scored 28 points in the fourth quarter to post a come-back win. Jenny Roy nearly averages a double-double for the Bruins with 8.6 ppg and 8.3 rpg. Kylee Smith is the teams leading scorer with 18.7 ppg. She also adds 7.0 rpg. Darby Maggard records 17.0 ppg while dishing out a team-best 5.5 apg. Sally McCabe rounds out the double-figure scoring efforts with 15.1 ppg.

THREE'S COMPANY
The Panthers drained 18 three-point field goals over the weekend. EIU connected on 10-of-34 vs. UT Martin and 8-of-30 vs. SEMO. Taylor Steele led the team connecting on eight shots from beyond the arc over the two games. Six players scored from three-point range vs. UT Martin while four connected vs. SEMO. Carmen Tellez and Danielle Berry each made two attempts against SEMO.

BERRY FROM THE CHARITY STRIPE
During the Panthers four game home stand, Berry shot a perfect 9-of-9 from the free throw line. Berry was 4-of-4 vs. Tennessee State in EIU's overtime win. She knocked down clutch free throws in the final minutes to help the Panthers secure the 66-58 win over the Tigers. Berry hit 5-of-5 from the line vs. Southeast Missouri. She is shooting a team second best 72.5 percent from the line on the season.
