Less than a week into fall camp the Eastern Illinois women's soccer team played an exhibition match on Sunday afternoon against Northern Iowa.   The Panthers lost the contest 4-0.

EIU returns to action next weekend with two home exhibition matches.  The Panthers host Northern Illinois at 3 p.m. on Friday and Evansville at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Panthers were selected to finish fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference preseason poll released last week.  The regular season opener is Aug. 23 at Ball State.
