Panthers Return Home For Matchup With Bisons
Eastern Illinois returns home to Lantz Arena for a matchup against the Lipscomb Bisons.  The Panthers look to get back to their winning ways following a 12-day gap since their last game.  Tipoff is set for 3 pm.

Last Game
The Panthers took a 58-48 loss on the road against Loyola Chicago.  Despite the loss, Abby Wahl
had her second double-double of the season and the seventh of her career, leading EIU with 16 points and 11 rebounds, becoming EIU's 26th 1,000 point scorer in the process.  Jordyn Hughes scored 10 points and grabbed four rebounds, while Kira Arthofer again proved to be a stat sheet stuffer, scoring six points, recording a career-high six steals, dishing out three assists, and grabbing three rebounds.  Morgan Litwiller contributed off the bench with six points, four rebounds, and four assists.

Senior guard Jordyn Hughes scored a career high-tying 24 points the last time the Panthers played Lipscomb in 2019.  She is currently averaging 7.9 points per game and her 3.6 rebounds per game are tied for second on the team.  She has scored in double figures in five out of ten games so far this season.

Looking at Lipscomb
Lipscomb is led by 3rd-year head coach Lauren Sumski.  The Bisons sit at 4-7 overall this season
and are coming off of a 74-50 home loss to Murray State on Saturday.  Lipscomb is led in both scoring and rebounding by Junior guard Blythe Pearson who is averaging 9.8 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game.  Redshirt Junior G/F Maddie Cook is second on the team in scoring with 9 points per game, and she is also averaging 4.9 rebounds per game.

Series History

Monday will mark just the second all-time meeting between the Panthers and the Bisons.  In the
only other meeting in series history, EIU defeated Lipscomb 66-56 in Nashville on December 1, 2019.  Jordyn Hughes tied her career-high with 24 points on 7-of-10 shooting in that game while Abby Wahl contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds.
