Eastern Illinois women's golf will play the second of its four fall tournament events this Monday and Tuesday as the Panthers travel to the Southern Illinois Saluki Invite.
 
The 54-hole event will be played at the Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo., with the course playing at 6,174 yards and a Par 72.
 
The tournament will include teams from host SIU, EIU, Missouri State, Southern Indiana, IUPUI, Belmont and Lindenwood.
 
EIU opened its season earlier this fall with a 10th place finish at the F&M Bank Austin Peay Intercollegiate. 
 
Katelind Winterland was the Panthers top finisher placing 39th in the field with her best round of 82 coming on the opening 18 holes.  Winterland finished with a score of 253.
 
Ashley Chen was EIU's leader after 36-holes after carding an afternoon round of 82 on the opening day.  She would shoot 257 to finish 44th.
 
Ava Boehm was tied for 46th as EIU's third golfer shooting a 259.  Her best round was on the opening afternoon with a 85.
 
Isabel Spanburg shot 88 in each round to finish at 264 and in 52nd.  Lindsey Hastings was EIU's final golfer shooting 279 to place 59th.
