Butler Benbow Women's Invite Results
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –
Monique Peterson was the top finisher for the Eastern Illinois women's golf team as the Panthers opened their spring schedule playing at the Butler Benbow Invitational.
EIU placed 13th in the 36-hole event played Monday and Tuesday at Jacksonville Beach Golf Club.
Peterson closed with a round of 79 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 55th with a 36-hole total of 165.
Cameron Krager,
Katelind Winterland and
Haley Hoagland rounded out the EIU scored golfers in the event.
Krager was 77th with a 36-hole score of 191. Winterland was 78th with a 36-hole total of 193. Hoagland was 79th with a score of 195. EIU's final golfer
Isabel Spanburg did not compete on Tuesday.
Ally Ross of Butler was the individual medalist in the event while the Bulldogs won the team title.
EIU will return to action later this week at the Saint Francis Spring Invite in Daytona Beach.
