MADISON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois men's golf completed its second tournament of the fall season on Tuesday as the Panthers wrapped up action at the 54-hole SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational played at Gateway National Golf Links.

EIU placed 16th in the tournament with
Pierce Allord the top Panthers golfer finishing tied for 55th. Allord shot a 54-hole score of 226 opening with his best round on Monday morning, a two over par 73.

Keegan Gowin climbed the leaderboard in the final round on Tuesday with the low round of the event for EIU. Gowin shot a one-under, 70 to finish the tournament at 228 and tied for 66th.

Ben Lanman fired an even-round score of 71 on Tuesday as he was tied for 72nd with a 54-hole score of 229.

Preston Smith was tied for 91st with a score of 241. He closed with his best round of the week, a 75 on Tuesday.

Juan Pablo Hernandez closed out the EIU golfers in the event in 96th. He had his best round in the opening round on Monday with a 78. Hernandez shot 251 for the event.

Idaho won the team title with Josh Kirkham of Bradley and Charlie Forster of Southeastern Louisiana finishing tied for individual medalist honors with a 54-hole score of seven-under par, 206. Â Forster would win the playoff with an eagle on the first playoff hole at No. 18.
