Eastern Illinois wrapped up play at the two-day, 54-hole Butler Fall Invite on Tuesday as the Panthers finished just ahead of Ohio Valley Conference member Southern Indiana and just behind new OVC-affiliate member Chicago State.
 
The event was played at the Highland Country Club with Morehead State winning the team title and Dasa Urbankova of UIC shooting four-under par to take home individual medalist honors.
 
Ashley Chen opened with a round of 75 on Monday morning and finished as the top EIU finisher in the field in a tie for 49th shooting a 54-hole score of 230.
 
Ava Boehm and Mya Mirocha both tied for 71st in the field carding a 54-hole score of 236 as both players fired closing rounds of 76 on Tuesday.
 
Lindsey Hastings had her low round of the tournament on Tuesday with a 76 as EIU shot 306 as a team on Tuesday.  Hastings was 95th with a 54-hole score of 248.
 
Katelind Winterland was the final EIU scored golfer in 96th with a total of 249.  Her low round of 81 came on Monday afternoon.
