Eastern Illinois women's golf wrapped up its third tournament of the fall season on Tuesday placing 14th at The Velvet Classic hosted by Murray State.
 
Mya Mirocha was the Panthers top finisher in the event finishing in 53rd with a 54-hole score of 241.   Mirocha opened and closed with rounds of 80 sandwiched around a Monday afternoon round of 81.
 
Sophia Miller was three strokes back posting a tournament total of 244.  Her best round of 78 came on Monday afternoon as the junior transfer finished tied for 58th.

A week after setting the EIU 54-hole scoring total at the Total Athlete Collegiate, Meera Upadhyay posted a 54-hole score of 250 to tie for 73rd in the field.  Her low round of the event was a Monday afternoon 81.
 
Morgan Grant placed 76th with a 54-hole score of 251.  Grant's best 18-holes were also on Monday afternoon with an 82.
 
Freshman Addison Kenney was the Panthers final scored golfer in the event finishing with a three-round total of 271 to place 88th.   She closed with an 87, her best round of the tournament.
 
Troy won the team title by one stroke over UNC Asheville as the two-day event was played at the Paducah Country Club.
