The 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship will tee-off this weekend in Tunica, Mississippi. The 54-hole women's championship will be held April 14-16 Tunica National Golf Course.
The year marks the 30th OVC Women's Golf Championship, with the first event being held in 1994. It also marks the first time the event has been held at the course or in the state of Mississippi.
The women's golf championship will feature nine teams - Chicago State, Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood, Little Rock, Morehead State, Southern Indiana, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and Western Illinois. It marks the first championship for new OVC member Western Illinois and affiliate Chicago State. The teams will have a practice round on Saturday and tee off on Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m.
This year's All-OVC and All-Newcomer Teams and Freshman of the Year will be announced at a banquet on Sunday night following the first round. The Player and Coach of the Year Awards as well as the All-Tournament and Tournament MVP awards will be presented at the conclusion of the championship.

Tunica National was designed by Mark McCumber and features Champion Bermuda greens, gently rolling zoysia fairways and generous landing areas.
This year's event will be a par of 72 with yardages running between 6,167 and 6,196 yards.
