The Eastern Illinois 2024 football season is just around the corner as the Panthers open play on August 29 at Illinois.
 
EIU alumni and fans will have the chance to watch the Panthers play both in-state Big Ten Conference teams this season from the Panthers fan section as tickets in the EIU section are now available through the EIU ticket office.  EIU plays at Illinois on Thursday, August 29 and at Northwestern on Saturday, September 14
 
Tickets to the Illinois game are $25 each and will be available to purchase through Friday, August 23.  
 
Tickets to the Northwestern game are $45 each as the Wildcats will play select home games this season at their temporary Lake Shore facility.  Those will be available to purchase through Friday, September 6.
 
Tickets must be purchased by phone through the EIU ticket office at 217-581-2106 or in-person at the EIU ticket office.  The ticket office is open Monday – Thursday, from 9 am to 11:30 am for summer hours.  If you reach the phone during non-business hours, please leave contact information for us to follow up.
 
All tickets for both games will be delivered via digital tickets that can be downloaded on your mobile device.  Tickets will be issued on Monday, the week of the game (Aug. 26 for Illinois) and (Sept. 9 for Northwestern).
 
The EIU Alumni Association will host a tailgate prior to the game at Illinois, tickets for that event can be purchased through the EIU Alumni office with more information at https://www.eiu.edu/alumni/event_register.php?event=277
 
Season ticket renewals and sales for Eastern Illinois five home games are currently underway by phone or online at www.eiupanthers.com/fbtickets  Single game tickets and tailgate spots for individual games will go on sale on August 1.
