2024-25 EIU Women's Basketball Schedule

Eastern Illinois women's basketball is coming off of back-to-back second place finishes in the Ohio Valley Conference regular season standings.
 
On Thursday (Aug. 29) first year head coach Marqus McGlothan, who was a top assistant on those last two Panthers teams, released an ambitious 2024-25 EIU schedule.
 
The non-conference schedule completes the EIU schedule after the OVC portion which opens on the road at Southeast Missouri on Dec. 19 was released earlier this summer.
 
EIU will open at home on Nov. 4 hosting Illinois Wesleyan in an exhibition game at Groniger Arena.  It will be one of four non-conference games at home for EIU.   The Panthers also host Loyola Chicago (Nov. 23), IU Indy (Nov. 27) and Indiana State (Dec. 6).
 
Following the home exhibition with Illinois Wesleyan, EIU opens a North Dakota swing playing its regular season opener at North Dakota on Nov. 8 and North Dakota State on Nov. 10.
 
The remainder of the Panthers non-conference schedule is dotted with teams from the Big Ten and Big 12 Conferences.  EIU plays at Illinois (Nov. 14) and Minnesota (Nov. 20) in mid-November.  Games at Kansas State (Dec. 3) and Iowa State (Dec. 15) are part of the December schedule heading into finals.
 
OVC play begins on the road at Southeast Missouri (Dec. 19) and Little Rock (Dec. 21).  EIU's OVC home opener is Jan. 2 against Lindenwood with the OVC regular season schedule also concluding at Groniger Arena against Southeast Missouri and Little Rock on Feb. 27 and March 1.
 
The OVC Tournament returns to the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana on March 5-8.
