GAME 28
Eastern Illinois lost both games on the road last week as the Panthers dropped to 16-11 overall, 13-5 in the OVC.  EIU has already assured itself of a winning record this season and enters the week in third place in the OVC standings.  A win on Thursday would lock up the No. 3 seed for the Panthers in the OVC Tournament race while a loss would mean the Panthers would be looking at a possible must-win scenario on Saturday to secure a first round bye.  Standing in the way on Thursday is a Little Rock team that is just one game behind the Panthers in the OVC standings and also battling for a first round OVC bye.  The Trojans are 14-13 overall, 12-6 in the OVC.

DESROCHES WITH A NICE LIFT
Sydney-James Desroches turned in an all-around game on Saturday at Morehead State as the redshirt sophomore scored a career high 13 points while passing out a career high four assists.  She also pulled down six rebounds for her tenth game this season with five or more rebounds in a game.  Her season high is eight in the early January home win over Lindenwood.  Desroches was 6-of-11 from the field on Saturday marking the fifth time this season that she has shot 50 percent or better from the floor in a game with four or more made field goals.  For the season Desroches is shooting 37.2 percent from the floor averaging 6.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.  Her 44 offensive rebounds this season currently rank her 15th in the OVC.  The 13 points gave Desroches six double figure scoring games this season including four during conference play.

MCGLONE'S EIU RECORD BOOK CHASE CONTINUES
Macy McGlone continues to move up the EIU career charts as she now needs 10 points to move into the EIU career Top 10 for scoring.  McGlone is currently 11th with 1,424 points as she moved past three players on the career list with her performance recently against UT Martin.  The senior is already third on the EIU career rebounds list with 898 and third in career blocks with 154.  She had one block on Saturday at Morehead State giving her at least one blocked shot in 18 straight games.  McGlone posted her league leading 15th double-double of the season at Morehead State finishing with 15 points and 16 rebounds.  She is currently 9th in the NCAA in double-doubles and 10th in the NCAA in rebounds per game this season.  McGlone owns the EIU single season (26) and career mark (45) for double-doubles at EIU.
