Eastern Illinois men's golf travels to Cape Girardeau, Mo., as the Panthers play in the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Championship starting on Sunday.
 
Weather may play a factor in the championship set for Dalhousie Golf Club.  The Par 72 course will have a layout ranging from 6,856 and 7,154 yards over the three days of stroke play.  The fourth and final day will be a match play championship among the four top teams in stroke play.
 
EIU has had back-to-back individual top ten finishes in its last two tournaments.  Alex Siatos placed in a tie for 5th at the WIU Intercollegiate shooting a 54-hole total of 219.  Ian Hollander placed sixth at the TSU Big Blue with a 54-hole score of 214.
 
On the season EIU is led by Cole Jaworski with a season scoring average of 75.1.   Parker Boehne is right behind him with a scoring average of 75.7.
 
EIU's best 54-hole scoring total was 213 by David Lawrence at the 2012 OVC Championship when he tied for second.  
 
EIU's best team finish at the OVC Championships was fourth coming in both 2001 and 2003.
