Eastern Illinois men's golf returns to action this Friday and Saturday as the Panthers will play at the Western Illinois Intercollegiate.
 
The 54-hole event will be held at the TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois which serves as the home of the PGA Tour John Deere Classic.
 
The course plays as a par 71 layout at 7,156 yards.   Teams will play 36 holes on Friday followed by 18 holes to close out Saturday.
 
Host Western Illinois is joined in the field by Eastern Illinois, Indian Hills CC, North Dakota, Northern Iowa, Alabama State, Chicago State, Green Bay and St. Ambrose.
 
Jack Yewchuk was the Panthers top golfer in the last tournament action at the Missouri State Twin Oaks Intercollegiate finishing in a tie for 28th including a final round par 71 round.
 
On the season Cole Jaworski has the team's top stroke average at 75.1 including a top 20 finish to his credit.
