Men's Golf Adds Transfer Jack Roche

Roche competed the last three seasons at Rogers State

Eastern Illinois men's golf coach Craig Toler has announced the addition of transfer Jack Roche to the Panthers roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
 
Roche will transfer in as a graduate student after playing the last three seasons at Rogers State University in Oklahoma.
 
Last season he played in eight tournaments with a season stroke average of 76.5 as he posted a pair of Top 20 tournament finishes during the season.  Roche placed 15th at the Tulsa Cup and added a 16th place finish at the Rogers State Hillcat Classic.   He carded a low round of 71 twice during the year shooting that total at the Hillcat Classic and the Barton College Spring Bulldog Tournament.
 
Roche appeared in two tournaments during the 2023-24 season after competing in ten events as a freshman in 2022-23.  During his freshman season he once again posted two Top 20 season finishes with a season best effort of fourth at the Hillcat Classic.  He earned Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Honor Roll recognition in 2023.
 
A native of Sydney, Australia, Roche played golf at Balgowlah Boys High School.  He was ranked No. 13 Male Junior Golfer in Australia at the beginning of 2022 earning both All-Region and All-State honors.
