Eastern Illinois women's golf heads to its third tournament of the fall season as the Panthers play on Monday and Tuesday at the Omaha Fall Stampede at the Creek.
 
The two-day, 54-hole event will be played at the Indian Creek Golf Course in Elkhorn, Nebraska.  The course will play at a Par 72, 6,066-yard layout.
 
EIU is one of six teams in the field for the event including host Omaha, Bethune-Cookman, Iowa Western CC, Nebraska and Northern Iowa.
 
The Panthers are coming off a tenth place finish last week at the Ball State Brittany Kelly Classic.   At the event EIU set the school record for a 54-hole team total shooting a score of 940 which beat the previous record of 944 set in 2023 at the Butler Fall Invite.
 
Sophia Miller was the Panthers top finisher in the event shooting a 54-hole score of 232 which tied for the ninth best individual 54-hole score in program history.   Miller is currently second on the team with a season stroke average of 78.2.
 
Meera Upadhyay holds the team scoring average this fall at 78.0.  The Panthers currently have four players with a season stroke average below 80 with Addison Kenney and Mya Mirocha both at 79.4 early in the season.
