Eastern Illinois men's golf returns to the links for the third straight week as the Panthers play at the 2025 SIUE Derek Dolenc Invite on Monday and Tuesday.
 
The 54-hole event will be contested once again at Gateway National Links in Madison, Illinois playing as a Par 71 with a 7,001 yard layout.
 
The field consists of 18 teams including Eastern Illinois, host SIUE, Belmont, Bradley, Green Bay, Idaho, Lindenwood, Missouri State, Morehead State, Northern Iowa, Omaha, Southern Indiana, Southern Utah, Tennessee State, UT Martin, Weber State, Western Illinois and Wichita State.
 
Ian Hollander led the Panthers last week at the Drake Zach Johnson Invite placing in a tie for 25th.  Hollander was the opening round leader with a round of 67 and has the team's best season stroke average through two tournaments at 71.8.
 
Freshman Luke Watson is second on the team in scoring average at 72.5 after opening his EIU career with a 10th place finish at the UT Martin Grover Page Invite where he tied the EIU 54-hole scoring record.
