GAME 25
Eastern Illinois women's basketball lost another key player for its Thursday night game at Tennessee State as guard Ava Stoller missed the contest.  The Panthers suited up only eight players but received contributions from the entire group as they picked up their first Ohio Valley Conference road win this season with a 65-60 victory in Nashville.  The win gave EIU a season series sweep over the Lady Tigers and improved the team to 4-20 overall, 3-10 in the OVC.  The Panthers play the second game in a three game road swing on Saturday at Tennessee Tech before closing out action Tuesday at Western Illinois.  TTU is 12-10 overall, 5-8 in the OVC following a Thursday loss.

LEWIS WITH ANOTHER BIG GAME AGAINST TSU
Tiny Lewis has eleven double figure scoring games this season following her 19 point performance against Tennessee State on Thursday.  It was the second big performance against TSU this season for the senior guard after scoring a season high 20 points earlier in the home win against the Lady Tigers.  Lewis knocked down three 3-pointers on Thursday giving her 88 for her EIU career and a team-high 26 3-pointers this season.  She added four rebounds, three assists and three steals playing just under 37 minutes in the game.  In her last game facing TSU during the 2024-25 season, Lewis scored a career high 21 points.

MASON WITH SECOND DOUBLE-DOUBLE AGAINST TSU
In early January transfer post player Meioshe Mason collected her first career double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds in the home win over Tennessee State.   On Thursday night she posted her second career double-double, again against Tennessee State finishing the game with 11 points, 13 rebounds.  Over the last 12 games Mason is shooting 50 percent from the floor with a 7.4 points per contest average.  Over those 12 games she has the two double-doubles with a total of three double figure scoring and three double figure rebounding games.

DESROCHES BACK IN DOUBLE FIGURES
Sydney-James Desroches returned to double figures on Thursday at Tennessee State scoring 15 points in the win.  Desroches missed seven weeks early in the season with a broken wrist returning to the Panthers line-up on January 1 at Southeast Missouri.  In that game Desroches scored a career high 20 points and has since followed that with six double figure games and an 11.4 points per game average.  She has also posted two double-doubles since her Jan. 1 return against Tennessee State and at Little Rock.
