The 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship will tee-off this weekend on the Ackerman-Allen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. The event will be held April 26-29.

It marks the first time the OVC Championship has been on the course which has previously hosted NCAA Championships.

This year's event once again includes three rounds of stroke play followed by the top four teams advancing to Match Play on the final day.

The men's golf championship will feature 11 teams - Bryant, Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood, Little Rock, Morehead State, SIUE, Southern Indiana, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin and Western Illinois. The teams are scheduled for a practice round on Saturday and then will tee off on Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m.

This year's All-OVC and All-Newcomer Teams will be announced on Saturday prior to the practice round. The OVC Player, Freshman and Coach of the Year awards along with the All-Tournament and Tournament MVP awards will be presented at the conclusion of stroke play on Tuesday.

Eastern Illinois best individual finish at the OVC Championships was turned in by David Lawrence in 2013 when he tied for second with a 54-hole total of 213.  The Panthers best team finish was fourth place during both the 2001 and 2003 championships.

This season the Panthers have been led by Alex Siatos with a season stroke average of 75.7.  He is closely followed by freshman Luke Watson at 75.8 and Jack Roche at 75.9.

The Ackerman-Allen Course, a Pete Dye design, is an 18-hole, parkland-style, par-72 championship golf course featuring large bent-grass greens, fairways and tees. The layout presents a challenge for golfers of all abilities with rolling hills, tree-lined fairways, white sand bunkers, and minimal water hazards.

For the Championship, the course will be par 72 with yardage running approximately 6,900 yards.

Live scoring results from each day of the championship can be accessed through links at OVCSports.com.
