OVC Tournament Round 1 Results

Eastern Illinois moved up one spot from its opening seeding as the Panthers shot a team round of 301 to stand in ninth place after the opening round of the 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship on Sunday.

The Panthers were led by Ian Hollander and Cole Jaworski who both shot rounds of 3-over par 74 at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Club – Ackerman Hills Course. Both players enter the second round on Monday in a tie for 21st.

Jack Roche was one stroke behind Hollander and Jaworski with a round of 75 which placed him in a tie for 31st.

Luke Watson and Alex Siatos were EIU's final golfers on Sunday. Watson carded a round of 78 to sit in a tie for 48th. Siatos shot a round a 79 and is currently tied for 51st.

Little Rock is the team leader with the Trojans Mark Stockdale, the clubhouse leader after the opening round at three-under par 68. A total of eight players shot rounds under par on the opening day of tournament action.
